Wednesday November 28, 2012 -Former
Attorney General Amos Wako is putting his spiritual side to good use.
Wako, who is eying the Busia
Senate seat on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket in the forthcoming
general election, now sits on the advisory body of a new initiative dubbed
“Write to God”.
The programme, which cuts
across religion and race, aims to get at least a million Kenyans to write a
letter to God by mid January 2013.
The initiative we are told
believes that letter writing can unite and heal Kenyans.
“Studies have shown that
writing is therapeutic and our experience has been that when we write to a
Higher Power, a natural sense of peace emerges,” a statement from the
initiative stated.
