TNA/ URP wrangles force MUTUTHO to bow out of Nakuru GOVERNOR race

Wednesday November 28, 2012 - The ongoing wrangles between The National Alliance (TNA)  and United Republican Party (URP) over who to control the Nakuru County has forced Naivasha legislator John Mututho to bow out of Nakuru governor seat, DAILY POST has established.

Making the announcement on Wednesday, the legislator said he will be seeking to defend his parliamentary seat.

"I have decided to continue with my focus of making laws in Parliament," Mututho said.

According to a credible source privy to URP and TNA operations, Mututho was forced to surrender his governorship bid for Nakuru County, after TNA surrendered to URP in exchange for Kajiado County which was surrendered to TNA.

TNA will not field any candindate for governor of Nakuru County and the same applies for URP in Kajiado County.
